An apprenticeship is the first step toward a rewarding career in the construction trades. The skills you learn open the door to endless opportunities. When you’re done, you get to choose where your union career takes you: advance in your union, lead a crew, teach, or start your own business. More opportunities, real benefits — it’s the union way.
Today, a college degree is no guarantee of a good job or a good paycheck. You could spend two to four years paying for a degree, then struggle to find a job in your field. Or any job at all. Not with a union career. Start learning and earning on day one and never search for a job again. You’ll do work you’re proud of and gain skills that can take you places.
Requirements differ by trade. For all, you’ll need a driver’s license and reliable transportation.
