Helmets to Hardhats
Many apprenticeship programs partner with the nonprofit Helmets to Hardhats. Helmets to Hardhats helps those getting out of the military secure jobs in the construction industry. Participants include service members, veterans, National Guard, and Reservists.
Veterans can register at helmetstohardhats.org and be ready to submit their DD-214 form when applying to a local program. If you’re ready to get started as an apprentice, your military background could give you a step up.
